Churchill Awards 2012
On the evening of September 13th, the Churchill Club presented, the Churchills, an annual event acknowledging companies and individuals for extraordinary achievements in the areas of innovation, social benefit, collaboration, and leadership. By highlighting excellence, the goal of the Churchill Awards is to inspire others to pursue innovation that can result in economic and globally beneficial growth.
The awards are:

Selection Process for The Churchills
Nominations were submitted by the Churchill Club Academy, a group of 500 distinguished business and technology executives and professionals, investors, entrepreneurs, academics, and members of the press. The Academy voted on the entire list of nominations submitted and an internal selection committee reviewed the votes and finalized the top nominees.

Event History
The Churchills were first held in 2011 as one of two final events of Churchill Club's 25th anniversary celebration year. Legendary Silicon Valley author, speaker and advisor Geoffrey Moore acted as master of ceremonies. Award honorees were present to accept the awards and each held a dynamic conversation with a special guest interviewer. By highlighting excellence, the goal of the Churchill Awards is to inspire others to pursue innovation that can result in economic and globally beneficial growth.
