Chris Carmichael is the founder and CEO of Carmichael Training Systems, Inc. and personal coach to cancer survivor and seven-time Tour de France Champion Lance Armstrong. Named the US Olympic Committee’s Coach of the Year in 1999, Chris formed CTS in 2000 after spending more than two decades in the sport of cycling. Through Chris’s leadership, CTS immediately established itself as the premier destination for personal fitness, nutrition, and performance coaching.

On the way to building a multimillion dollar coaching and multimedia business, Chris also found the time to write five books, including the New York Times Bestseller, Chris Carmichael’s Food for Fitness (2004) and his newest release, Five Essentials for a Winning Life (2006). His unique perspective on performance appears in his monthly columns in Bicycling Magazine and Outside Magazine, and the broad appeal of his message has seen him featured in Time, Business 2.0, Inc., and Forbes Small Business.

Come hear Chris discuss his philosophies on leadership, coaching, goal-setting, training, and much more, while networking with the valley’s leading tech and cycling enthusiasts! Interviewed by industry leader and avid cyclist Andy Ball, president & CEO of Webcor.
