Open Forum: Data-Driven Insights for Meaningful Climate Solutions

October 31, 2019

Tuesday, November 5, 2019

With recent headlines around the Climate March, the UN’s 2019 Global Climate Action Summit, and the Business Roundtable decision, the time for action is now in the fight against climate change. As businesses continue to mobilize new climate change policies and actions toward positive global impact, one of the most powerful tools at their disposal is the utilization of data to inform action. Leading organizations are gathering and activating data to measure, reduce, and respond to the most urgent needs globally in the effort to reduce carbon emissions. Leveraging data-intensive technologies such as AI and machine learning, new predictive models can show which actions drive the most impact to inform the creation and execution of new policies. This panel of distinguished and passionate experts will discuss real-world, data-driven collaborations and actions that are taking place on the front lines in the fight against climate change. What new insights are emerging and what is the potential impact? What progress do our speakers expect to see in the next 5+ years?
